It is New Year’s Eve and I am spending time with Travis in Wisconsin Dells. For everyone who does not not know where Wisconsin Dells is it is in Wisconsin. There are a lot of water parks here and hotels and restaurants. There are more things to do here in summer. We met in Wisconsin Dells on August 20 of this year.
Since it is almost 2016 I will tell you my new years resolutions. I always make new years resolutions every year. I usually make resolutions that I want to lose weight and to not drink soda. Not drinking soda lasts a few months sometimes but eventually I do drink soda again during the year.
For this year my resolutions are to lose weight as usually but also to enjoy the little moments and not always feel like I have to wait for something big to happen.

Today is December 6, 2015. I have been dating my boyfriend Travis for 3 months. It seems like longer because we are together most of the time except when we have to work. We get along well and we have a lot in common. Our first date was on August 20th and we hung out all day. We didn’t want the day to end because we were having so much fun. Since my blog is called Martini At Midnight I will say cheers to many more months and years of being with Travis.
I went on a trip to San Francisco with my mom on September 30th. We are from Wisconsin and we took a plane to San Francisco. I never went to San Francisco before. I had a good time and we ate a lot of good food. I will make a post about the food we ate later. We also walked around a lot. There are a lot of hills in San Francisco.
We went to Fisherman’s Wharf, China Town, and went to quite a lot of stores and shopped.
I rode on a cable car for the first time. It was pretty cool.
It was a good trip. We stayed in San Francisco for 2 days and then we drove to Saratoga to go to my cousin’s wedding.
I have not written a post in awhile. I have been busy. I have a boyfriend now. He is a year younger than me,nice, and very funny. We went on our first date on August 20, 2015 which was exactly 6 months after Nate died. I went to San Francisco in the beginning of this month. I have been working a lot still. I will be posting some reviews of restaurants in San Francisco soon.
It’s been awhile since I have posted anything. I have been busy with work. I have lost a few pounds. Also a few pairs of pants are too big for me now. The pants that are too big are size 20s. I do a lot of lifting things at work so that may be why I lost some weight.
It’s been almost 7 months since I started this blog. Thank you to everyone who reads my blog. This has been a year that I will never forget and it started out a lot different than it was turned out to be. I am going to keep working on losing weight and continue to post about it.
Today is National Martini Day. This blog is Martini At Midnight so I had to made a post for today. The definition of a martini is an alcoholic drink made with gin and vermouth or a drink made with vodka instead of gin. There are many other types of martini too. I like the sweet martinis best. I had a caramel apple one before. I collect martini glasses because I have always liked martini glasses. I had a martini a month ago at Deja Vu Martini Lounge. I don’t drink very much but when I do I like to have a martini.
Today I have had this blog for 4 months. A lot has changed in my life but one thing I am still doing is I writing on this blog. I have a lot to look forward to this year. One thing I get to do is travel to Northern California in early October for my cousin’s wedding.
I weighed myself yesterday and I am down 4 pounds. I weigh 225.6 pounds. I am glad I lost those few pounds and am going to continue losing weight. A few weeks ago I went out dancing on a Saturday night and I got a good workout dancing. I usually get my exercise by walking or dancing.
I am hoping to be down to 200 pounds or so by October. If I keep walking a lot and dancing I should be able to do it. It’s about 4 months away and I only need to lose about 25 pounds to get to 200 pounds.
I have been very busy I have two new jobs and work a lot right now. I am going to try to at least post once every month if not more if I can. Tomorrow is my 31st birthday. I have some pictures that I am going share of what I look right now and as I lose weight I will have more pictures to share. The weight I am in the pictures is 229.6 lbs.

I gained about 5 lbs but I am able to wear a size 18 right now and I usually wear a 20 so weight doesn’t real matter that much. It matters a little and I can’t wait until I am under 200 lbs because it has been 16 years since I was under 200 lbs.
I have already lost weight in the past few months and I haven’t really been trying. I hurt my ankle a few weeks ago and I wasn’t able to walk as much as I usually too and I still lost some weight. I am going to list the times I have weighed myself and what I weighed.

4-5-15 226.6 lbs
My goal weight is 160 lbs. I am hoping to get to that weight by my 32nd birthday which is May 5, 2016. I have weighed over 200 lbs since I was 15. It will be great to be in the 100’s for weight.
The month of March is almost over. I had a busy month. One thing that I did that I had not planned on doing this soon was move out of my apartment. I didn’t mind that I had to move out because the only reason I moved into the apartment was because it was where Nate and I wanted to live. Now that he is gone it is just an apartment. When he was alive it felt like it was our home.
Next month I may feel sad because April 5th is Nate’s birthday. He was exactly a month older than me. I used to look at him and think he is always going to look young. I never thought he would only live to the age of 30. Since we were exactly a month apart in age I counted the days between our birthdays and that day was April 20 so that’s a special day for us too.
I have been thinking that all the plans I made for this year are not the same. The only thing I can plan on is that I am going to keep working on this blog. This blog is one thing that can be all about me. There are a lot of things that I have to for other people and it’s not that I don’t want to do things for other people. It’s just that I am the type of person that needs a lot of alone time and I enjoy being by myself sometimes.
Now that I have had to change a lot of plans I have decided to not make so many plans and just live life and let life take me where it wants to take me and figure things out as I go. One thing I do plan on is that I am going to lose weight this year. And I will be blogging about my weight loss.
