20 Weeks Pregnant

I will be 20 weeks pregnant this week on Wednesday. I haven’t been on here awhile because I don’t have internet at home right now. I forgot to put a post up for October. I have been doing a post a month for awhile but missed the month of October.

I will get to find out the gender of the baby the day before Thanksgiving. I am hoping for a girl and my boyfriend is hoping for a boy but as long as the baby is healthy either is fine.

I can’t wait to find out the gender so I can start buying stuff for the baby and decorate the baby’s room. Once baby is born I am planning on doing reviews of different baby products.

That is all for now. I will be back to reveal gender of baby after I find out.

12 Weeks Pregnant

As I am writing this I am 13 weeks pregnant today. I am now in the second trimester. I am writing about being 12 weeks pregnant in this post. I was feeling sick and threw up a few times. I am ready for the sick feeling to go away. It should be gone soon. Looking forward to the second trimester, feeling kicks, and finding out the gender.

Expecting My First Baby

I am excited to announce I am pregnant with my first child. This will be my boyfriend’s second child he has a  daughter who is 8.

I have wanted to have a baby since I was 24. I am 32 now and will be 33 a month after the baby is born. I am due April 5, 2017. April 5 was my ex-boyfriend Nate’s birthday. Nate passed away in February 2015.

The reason I even wanted to start a blog was because I started reading mom blogs a few years ago and I thought someday I could do that when I am a mom. Now I will be able to be a mom blogger.

I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday morning and I had a ultrasound and got to see the baby.

Things To Do While Visiting San Diego

San Diego is one of my favorite cities to visit. I have been there many things because my mom is from San Diego. She grew up there and moved to Wisconsin after she met my dad.

Having been to San Diego many times I have done a lot of fun things there. Below are some fun things to do in San Diego.

San Diego Zoo

Sea World

Swimming in the Ocean

Peach Iced Tea Review

Ice With Tea

It is summer and it gets hot in summer and a cold drink can cool you down fast. Lemonade or Iced Tea are good choices for cool drinks. I like iced tea. My favorite kind of iced tea is peach iced tea. I have tried many different brands of peach iced tea. I like tea that is sweet.

My favorite peach iced tea is Lipton Peach Iced Tea. It is sweet enough for me and it tastes good. Lipton Peach Iced Tea comes in a 12 bottle pack, a big bottle, or a small bottle.

Pure Leaf Peach says on bottle that it is Not Too Sweet. I don’t like the Pure Leaf Peach tea it is not as sweet as I like.

Honest T Peach Tea was pretty good. Not my favorite but it was good. Not too sweet but it wasn’t the worst tea I ever had.

So if you are looking for a sweet Peach Tea I recommend Lipton Peach Iced Tea. Honest T is also good.

5 Reasons To Live At A Motel

Reasons to stay at a hotel or motel for an extended amount of time.

My boyfriend and I are staying at a motel right now. We will most likely be staying here for quite a few months. Here are some good reasons to stay at a motel and not rent an apartment or house.

  1. Don’t have to buy furniture. If you want to stay somewhere a few months or just moved and don’t have time to shop for furniture it is nice to stay somewhere that already has furniture.
  2. Don’t have to buy toilet paper or tissues. The motel we stay at stocks the room with these items.
  3. Room gets cleaned on a regular basis. At the motel we stay at their is a cleaning lady who comes in every few days and cleans our room.
  4. Don’t have to pay a security deposit or worry about getting it back when you leave. When staying in a town for a short time it is nice to not have to worry about a security deposit.
  5. Next to lots of places to shop and eat. The motel we stay at is by a lot of restaurants and stores which is nice because we can walk to them when the weather is nice.

Job Hunting Is Like Dating

I have had many different jobs over the years. I am in the process of looking for a job right now. I just had one interview today and I have another one tomorrow. I have also had a lot of experience going on dates while I was looking for a boyfriend. Luckily for me I have found a good boyfriend. I am still searching for the right job though. Looking for a job is a lot like dating. Listed below are the reasons I think looking for a job is like dating.

  1. Trying To Impress Someone- When you go to an job interview you try to impress the person interviewing you and when you go on a date you try to impress your date. You might be nervous also.
  2. Waiting By The Phone- Sitting by the phone waiting for a call after the interview or date.photogen_tsf013
  3. Find the Right One When You Don’t Expect It- Whether looking for a date or a job sometimes it happens when you least expect it.
  4. The Right One Is Sometimes Not What Thought You Wanted- Whether it is a potential mate or a job sometimes what you thought you wanted was not what you needed.

Happy St Patrick’s Day

Happy St Patrick’s Day!! I like St Patrick’s Day. I found out I am part Irish so it makes this St Patrick’s Day more special to me. My boyfriend and I are going to go to my parent’s tonight because my mom is making corned beef.

I will be making more posts now because I live in a house with a kitchen now. My boyfriend and I were staying at a hotel for about a month and it didn’t have a kitchen. Now that I live somewhere with a kitchen I will try some recipes and post about how those go.

I will be reviewing a hotel in Wisconsin Dells in April also. My mom, my aunt, and I usually take a trip to Wisconsin Dells each year last year we went in February.

Review Of A Few Restaurants In San Francisco

I posted about my trip to San Francisco a few months ago. I said I was going to review the restaurants I went to while I was there. This is my post of those restaurants.

The first night we were there we went to was Boudin Bakery. There are a few locations and the one we went to was on the wharf.  We went upstairs to the Bistro Boudin. Before your meal they serve some sour dough bread and it is really good. We had the Margherita Pizza and the Dungeness Crab Mac & Cheese.

Pizza and Pasta

Another restaurant we went to was Greens. We had a appetizer of tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. Then we had Tomato, Grilled Fennel and Onion Pizza. Everything we had was great.

Another thing I had in San Francisco that I liked was an ice cream I had at Humphry Slocombe. The flavor I had was Secret Breakfast. It had corn flakes and bourbon in it.

I had a good trip to San Francisco and ate some great food. Hoping to go back someday and try some more of the food San Francisco has to offer.

First Post Of The Year

Today is January 31, 2016. I can’t believe that January is almost over. I just noticed that the last post I made was on December 31, 2015. I wanted to make a post today because I want to start making at least one post a month. I am busy working at my other job a lot and that’s why I don’t get on here a lot.

I started this blog a year ago and my life was alot different then. I lost a very important person last February. His name was Nate and he was my boyfriend and my best friend. I was taking care of him because he had a heart condition and was blind. When he passed away I had to move out of my apartment and move back in with my parents. I found a job and have been working there almost a year.

This year is going to be a good year for me. I have a boyfriend named Travis who I get along with really well. I have a job and make enough money to live pretty well. I have good health and a good family.

2016 is going to be a good year. I wish everyone a great year.
